[Important] Access to High-Performance Computing Resources for RBM Students
Dear RBM Students,
As we progress into the project execution and monitoring phase this semester, we want to remind you of the procedures for accessing high-performance computing (HPC) resources provided by our campus and the RBM division. These resources are crucial for some students' projects, and we encourage you to familiarize yourselves with the application process.
Access to HPC AI Platform
For RBM students requiring the HPC AI Platform:
1. Approval: Obtain email approval from your Project Manager (PM), Academic Supervisor (AS), and Project Supervisor (PS).
2. Application: Forward the approval email to Dr. Tongge Huang (tonggehuang@hkust-gz.edu.cn) and cc Mr. Zhenchao Qi (zhenchaoqi@hkust-gz.edu.cn).
3. Account Setup: Apply for an HPC account at the One-Stop Service Center for Teachers and Students(一站式师生服务中心）https://onestop-online.hkust-gz.edu.cn/ IT服务 - HPC AI平台服务申请：Department -RBM
Finish Principal Investigator Choose. We will process it ASAP.
Note: You will not be charged for using the HPC AI Platform for now. However, we will monitor usage closely.
Access to AI Workstations and Software
For RBM students needing AI workstations and specific software:
1. Approval: Obtain email approval from your Project Supervisor (PS), including:
1. The necessity of the workstation for your project.
2. Why existing university resources do not meet your needs.
3. Specific hardware requirements (CPU, GPU, SSD, HDD, etc.).
2. Application: Forward the approval email to Dr. Tongge Huang (tonggehuang@hkust-gz.edu.cn) and cc Mr. Zhenchao Qi (zhenchaoqi@hkust-gz.edu.cn).
3. Access: Wait for Mr. Zhenchao Qi to contact you regarding lab access and machine permissions.
