主要规格&技术指标
爬杆材质:松香木;
爬杆尺寸:圆球直径 2.5cm,杆长 50cm,杆直径 1cm,爬杆与底板倾斜角度可任意调节;
1. Pre-Test Preparation: Ensure all equipment is working properly, including the pole, stopwatch (or camera), and data sheets. Maintain a quiet environment with consistent lighting. Allow mice to acclimate in the testing room for at least 30 minutes before starting.
2. Apparatus Setup and Cleaning: Use a rosin pine pole with a 2.5 cm diameter top ball, 50 cm pole length, and 1 cm diameter. The pole angle can be freely adjusted as needed. Clean the pole and baseboard with 75% ethanol before each trial and let dry completely.
3. Behavioral Testing Procedure: Place the mouse head-upward on the top of the ball. Start timing immediately. Record the time to turn downward (T-turn) and the total time to reach the base (T-total). If the mouse does not turn in 30 seconds or reach the base in 60 seconds, record as a failed trial.
4. Trial Repeats: Each mouse performs 3 trials with 2–3 minutes of rest in between. Use the average of T-turn and T-total for analysis.
5. Post-Session Cleaning and Data Management: Clean the apparatus with 75% ethanol after each session. Return the mouse to its home cage and record all relevant data.
Note: The protocol can be adjusted according to specific experimental designs, such as altering the pole angle, trial number, or testing intervals.

主要功能及特色
The pole test is a simple and effective assay used to evaluate motor coordination, balance, and bradykinesia in rodents. It is widely applied in Parkinson’s disease models and neurodegenerative research. Featuring a rough-surfaced pole and adjustable incline, the test offers high sensitivity and reproducibility for assessing motor deficits and drug effects.
